Florida native and proud Jacksonville resident, Ms. Susan Hartman brings a unique combination of financial expertise and legal experience to her Jacksonville Beach office. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000, and she maintains her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™) designations.

It was through a deep passion for financial services that Ms. Hartman found her way into law practice. Her CFP® and CDFA™ designations bolstered her with a fluency in household financials. Throughout her career, she has translated this proficiency into comprehensive and detailed estate planning. Ultimately, she aims to provide families with financial peace of mind.

She has authored various articles for and has been quoted in various industry periodicals such as Financial Advisor, Investment Advisor, InvestmentNews, and Bank Investment Consultant. She addresses various memberships such as the AHCA/NCAL and Associations of CPAs and Bar associations across the country a their local, regional, and national conferences, and through webcasts and other professional CE programs for Financial Advisors, Attorneys, and CPAs at both the intermediate and advanced levels on Asset Protection, Estate Planning, Investment Planning, Risk Management, Qualified Retirement Plan Administration and Design, Required Minimum Distribution Rules, and Income Tax Planning topics.

She represented Raymond James & Associates, Inc. on the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association's (SIFMA's) Retirement and Savings Committee, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and the Financial Planning Association. She continues to frequently consult with other Financial Advisors, their clients, and their clients' other advisors (attorneys, accountants, etc.) across the country.

Her familiarity with asset management and distribution finally carried over into the family law arena in 2016 when she began offering her services as a financial neutral to divorcing couples in the Jacksonville Beaches areas.

Soon thereafter, she became involved with the Collaborative Family Law Group of Northeast Florida (CFL) - a multi-disciplinary organization that promotes the use of the collaborative divorce process. Through the collaborative divorce group, she again found need for her skill set and educational background. In December of 2019, she accepted leadership of the CFL as President.

Ms. Hartman holds memberships with the Jacksonville Bar Association and the Jacksonville Beaches Bar Association. Prior to her move up to the Jacksonville area, she also was president of the Pinellas County Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. She is also active in several local non-profits, including the Ponte Vedra Women's Club. An avid equestrian and animal lover, Ms. Hartman owns a small family farm where she raises horses and livestock with the help of her son.
